Transform your enclosure floor or aquatic setup into a dynamic, multi-layered ecosystem with this curated 33-piece botanical assortment. Blending compact cones with large, structural seed pods, this all-in-one variety pack delivers naturalistic shelter, foraging complexity, and vital microfauna support across bioactive terrariums, reptile habitats, and blackwater aquascapes.

Husbandry & Habitat Highlights

  • Multi-Tiered Structural Enrichment: A diverse mix of pods creates varied microclimates, climbing pathways, and stress-reducing hides for small reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates.
  • Bioactive Cleanup Crew Haven: Serves as a colonization and breeding hub for isopods and springtails, providing an ongoing, slow-release nutrient source as the botanicals gradually break down.
  • Aquatic Biofilm & Water Conditioning: Promotes dense grazing surfaces of beneficial biofilm while leaching gentle tannins and humic acids to support naturalistic biotope parameters and aquatic vitality.
  • Resilient Habitat Ground Cover: Features thick, woody botanical walls that hold up exceptionally well in high-humidity vivariums without rotting prematurely.
  • 100% Natural & Untreated: Organically sourced and naturally dried without pesticides, artificial chemicals, fertilizers, or dyes.

Preparation Guide

  • For Terrariums & Vivariums: Ready for direct placement. Scatter across the leaf litter or nestle into the substrate to establish localized micro-shelters and foraging zones.
  • For Aquariums: Boil pods for 15–20 minutes to release surface tannins and aid waterlogging, then soak in clean water overnight before adding them to the tank. (Introduce 1–2 pods first to observe tannin release, gradually adding more to achieve your preferred water tint).
