Key Benefits for Reptiles
- Cushioned Inflatable Base: Features a soft, textured bubble-bottom floor that gives your reptile's claws traction while offering a comfortable, forgiving surface for resting bellies and tails.
- Aids in Shedding & Hydration: A dedicated soaking pool is an excellent tool for promoting full-body hydration and helping loosen stubborn, stuck shed from your pet's toes, belly, and tail.
- Soft, Smooth Walls: The thick, dual-tier inflatable walls minimize the risk of accidental scrapes or stress when your reptile explores the perimeter.
Product Features
- Dual-Ring Inflation Design: Built with two independent air chambers to provide structural stability and make setup quick and simple.
- Easy to Clean and Sanitize: Made from smooth, non-porous vinyl that easily wipes down, sanitizes, and rinses clean between uses.
- Compact Storage: When playtime is over, simply deflate the pool to fold it completely flat for effortless, space-saving storage.
Ideal For:
- Bearded dragons, blue-tongued skinks, and small monitor lizards
- Terrestrial turtles and tortoises requiring supervised soaking
- Snakes needing extra humidity support during a shed cycle
⚠️ Reptile Splash Pool Safety Guidelines
While water play and soaking are fantastic for hydration, exercise, and shedding, always advise your customers to prioritize safety with these essential rules:
-
Never Leave Your Pet Unattended: Reptiles should never be left alone in a pool, even for a few seconds. Constant supervision is required to prevent accidental drowning or escapes.
-
Maintain the Correct Water Temperature: Always use lukewarm water. For bearded dragons, the ideal temperature range is 85°F to 92°F (29°C to 33°C). Water that is too hot can cause burns, while cold water can rapidly lower their core body temperature and cause lethargy or respiratory issues.
-
Keep Water Levels Shallow: Fill the pool only up to your reptile's chest or elbow height when they are resting flat on the bottom. They must always be able to easily keep their head and nose completely above water without struggling or constantly treading.
-
Skip the Soap and Bubble Baths: Avoid using human soaps, bubble baths, or shampoo. Reptiles often drink during their soak, and ingesting these chemicals can be toxic. Furthermore, soaps can strip away natural oils from their skin.
-
Watch for Stress Signals: If a reptile is frantically glass-surfing, puffing its beard, turning dark, or trying to climb out immediately, wrap up the swim session. Every animal has a different tolerance level, and forcing a stressed reptile to stay in the water can lead to respiratory infections.
-
Sanitize After Every Use: Reptiles often use water time to relieve themselves. If an accident happens, drain the pool immediately. Always scrub and sanitize the liner with a reptile-safe disinfectant between uses to prevent bacterial buildup.
